Chapter 4 - The Roommate I Married

I made sure we signed an ironclad prenup first, in case my little scheme blew up in my face.

But living with Wes turned out to be nothing like I expected. He was funny in a dry, quiet way. He cooked. He fixed the leaky faucet I'd been ignoring for a year. He never left a dish in the sink. We slid into an easy rhythm, two roommates who happened to hold hands whenever my parents were in the room.

Only one thing bothered me.
